Sever Hall

The Science Center

, the location of late Friday night events, is right to the west of Memorial Hall, meaning that it is to your left as you come out the north exit of Harvard Yard. It is the large white concrete building that looks like a Polaroid camera jutting out in the sky—very much an incongruous facility compared to the rest of Harvard's old red-brick buildings. Go straight inside from the southern main entrance and all the way to the back to find the rooms we will be using: 109-112.

Science Center

Lowell Lecture Hall

, the location of the Masquerade, is to the northeast of the Science Center, right across Oxford Street. To get there from Sever Hall, exit and go straight (west) across the yard (with Memorial Church on your right), turning right just past Memorial Church. Continue (north) through the gates. You will see a large concrete building in front of you (this is the Science Center), and a large brick building with big stained glass windows off to your right (this is Memorial Hall, not to be confused with Memorial Church). Walk between the Science Center and Memorial Hall and cross the street (Oxford Street) to get to Lowell Lecture Hall. Enter and find the auditorium; it's a big auditorium, so you can't really miss it.

Harvard Book Store

, where most of our guests will be having signings, is located in Harvard Square, at 1256 Massachusetts Avenue, right across the street from Harvard University's Wigglesworth Hall. Their phone number is (617) 661-1515. A private, independent bookstore, Harvard Book Store was founded in 1932 and has remained a Harvard Square fixture ever since.

Million Year Picnic

is located at 99 Mt. Auburn St., Cambridge, MA 02138. Their phone number is (617) 492-6763. To get there, head out of Harvard Yard, past the Harvard Square T stop, and continuing JFK street. Turn right on Mount Auburn St., and the Million Year Picnic will be on your right, just past Tower Records and before Wordsworth Books.
