Panel: The Good, the Bad and the Morally Ambiguous

Guest event run by John Bestoso

Time

Saturday, March 20 beginning at 11:30 AM and running until 1:00 PM

Location

Sever 113 (Guide to Locations)

Short Description

Katherine Howe, Paul Tremblay, and Timothy Zahn discuss the balance of good and evil in the characters they create.

Details

Classically, stories feature heroes and villains. However, the heroes aren't always good people, and the villains aren't always evil. Moreover, it's not always clear who is who. Our panelists discuss how they make characters who are convincingly stuck somewhere between good and evil. How many such characters can a story support?
